Le Petit Joueur

A study guide built entirely from the current French edition of the book: every word in the book as a lemma with its forms, grammar lessons with book sentences, translation drills over every aligned sentence, and a paragraph-by-paragraph bilingual reader. Tap any French word in the Reader or the Translation Lab to see what it means.

How to use this page

The fastest loop is read → notice → retrieve → use. Read one chapter in the Reader, set the Vocabulary deck to the same chapter, do that chapter's cloze items, then translate a few of its sentences without looking.

1 · ReadOpen a chapter in the Reader. Try “French + tap for English”, and tap any unfamiliar word for its meaning.
2 · RetrieveFilter Flashcards, Match and Cloze to the chapter you just read. Mark words you know; the deck can hide them.
3 · ProduceTranslation Lab uses every aligned sentence of the book, in both directions. French → English checks comprehension; English → French builds production.
