Stop and choose
Cue
Arrive ready for the next action.
Principle
If you cannot stop, you cannot choose.
Set-up
Pairs move through cone gates. The leader changes speed; the partner follows at a distance. On a signal both stop in balance and choose another free direction. Swap leader every 30 seconds. Later use one ball per pair and pass after the stop.
Where this fits
By layer
| Layer 0Aware | Slowly, no ball, wide gates. |
| Layer 1Control | After the stop, catch and pass at once. |
| Layer 2Shape your own | Stop at speed and under contact. |
How do you coach it?
Short and precise, coach-led, at most about 10 minutes. Then back to play.
Autonomy is not the criterion here.
