Good shot contest
A good shot or no shot.
Principle
A good shot: caught in balance, powered from the legs, finished long, inside your range, not contested.
Set-up
Teams of three, one basket per team, five spots: two close, two midrange, one outside.
Rules
Each player chooses their own spot, inside their range. The team calls 'good shot' or 'throw' after every shot. Two minutes per round.
Scoring
Good shot made = 2. Good shot missed = 1. Throw = 0, even if it goes in.

Solves Shot selection
By layer
| Layer 0Aware | Close in, with a lower rim or a lighter ball if possible. |
| Layer 1Control | Choose a spot inside your range; the team judges. |
| Layer 2Shape your own | Under pressure and fatigue. |
| Layer 3Shape others | A shot only after a pass out of a drive. |
How do you coach it?
Intensity, emotion and consequence. The coach protects the rules and stops play as little as possible.
Long explanations and technical correction during play do not belong here.
